Gregory Distribution

Gregory Group is one of the largest privately owned logistics companies in the UK, with 50 sites, 20 warehouses and 1,300 vehicles. Their team of 3,200 people operate 24/7, supporting nationwide customers with their transport, warehousing, and distribution needs.

With a vast team on the move, Gregory Group's Learning & Development Manager, Steve Rose, was looking for an e-learning provider who offered easily accessible and bite-sized online animated training. This is where the great partnership between the Gregory Group and iAM Learning started in April 2023.

Read the below to find out how our unique approach to training has engaged employees at the Gregory Group.

How did you first become aware of iAM Learning?

I met the team at the 2023 World of Learning summit in Olympia and was impressed by your keynote speaker who gave an example of how your courses supported an organisation's learning objectives.

What were the main reasons for choosing iAM Learning over other training providers?

The working partnership was a big sell for me. There are 100s of people selling e-learning but I was impressed by the way you used storytelling with some elements of fun and pop culture as I see that as a good way of engaging our people.

What specific training needs were identified before partnering with iAM Learning?

As part of our role-based training program, I identified a need for soft skills in bite-sized courses.

What are the top collections and courses that have been viewed this month?

Currently, that would be Fire Warden and Manual Handling.

As part of your business goals, what collections and courses were you really interested in, and how beneficial do you find them?

I was mostly interested in the Human Resources, BEDI and Core Skills & Power Skills collections. These courses have been beneficial to us, by simply being able to quickly deliver skill and knowledge all across the country with ease.

How do iAM's online courses align with your overall strategic business goals and objectives?

The courses help us to develop the skills and knowledge required to help expand our business and achieve our net-zero targets.

Have you seen an improvement in performance and productivity among employees since utilising iAM online learning courses? If so, do you have any success stories?

This can be difficult to measure accurately and pinpoint it to just the iAM courses but it is an important element in our L&D toolkit.
